HRambles - Small walking network events empowering women in HR
No pitches. No pressure. Just a safe space to decompress with peers who get it.
Why HRambles? 🍃☀️
Being in HR means juggling a lot…
Teams, culture, expectations – and rarely having a space to unpack it.
Especially now, as pressures increase and burnout feels closer than ever.
We know you’re always support others, solving problems, and absorbing stress from every angle.
But who’s supporting you?
HRambles’ walks are easy-going strolls with a focus on supporting and empowering women HR leaders and people managers working in SMEs.
Have real conversations and breathe in fresh air, away from desks and demands.
Every walk gently explores a topic that’s impacting you right now – like burnout, managing change, or navigating tough conversations.
It’s your safe space to decompress, vent, and authentically connect with peers who truly understand your day-to-day reality.
Come as you are, step outside with people who genuinely get it, and reclaim a little breathing space in your busy world.
Sometimes the best way to solve a problem is simply to walk it out…

FAQs
Where will the walking routes be?
Our walking routes will be in and around Manchester – and we’ll always do our best to choose locations with public transport connections.
If you have any suggestions please do let us know.
Will the walks be strenuous?
Not at all!
Walks will be relaxed, and suitable for all ages and abilities.
What if I'm only new to HR or don't have an official HR title?
Please don’t let your title or experience level stop you from coming along and making connections.
Everyone is welcome! If you work in HR, people management, or wellbeing and engagement (in any capacity) please join the waiting list.
How much does it cost to attend?
Not a thing!
We’ll even treat you to a coffee or tea (and a pastry!) along the way.
The culture feels like it’s massively improved since we introduced Stribe. We really wanted to create a culture where people feel safe to speak up and Stribe has done that.
