The UK's first ever Good Employment Week
In 2023, Stribe was honoured to support the Charter in holding the UK’s first ever Good Employment Week.
Backed by mayor Andy Burnham, the inaugural Good Employment Week event focused on raising awareness of good employment practices and how to make positive changes in the workplace across Manchester’s city-region.
Stribe was the chosen survey platform to host a quiz that took centre-stage during the week-long campaign.
Asking the simple question ‘How good is your job?’ – the short quiz rated jobs according to a range of criteria including flexible working, management, and wellbeing support.
The quiz was completed by more than 2200+ workers in the region.
The City Mood Project
In 2021 the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, in partnership with pro-manchester and Stribe, set out to evaluate the mood and confidence of workers returning to the city of Manchester.
Over a 6-month period (October 2021 – March 2022), The City Mood Project evaluated the confidence and mood of workers returning to work in the city after the height of Covid-19.
Workers from participating organisations were asked a series of questions anonymously via Stribe’s survey technology, and their responses were tracked over-time to measure change in mood and sentiment.
The City Mood Project report ultimately informed city stakeholders of key employee insights during Manchester’s Covid-19 recovery process, and initiatives that covered how to best support and engage employees during that time.
