How to create an employee engagement survey with Stribe

Last updated October 2024

Employee engagement surveys don’t have to be overwhelming, intimidating, or time-consuming.

In fact, it’s our whole mission at Stribe is to make employee surveys more meaningful and easier for HR teams to implement – so you can spend more time focusing on the more important things like making positive change.

We’ve heard horror stories from customers that used to spend hours on end (sometimes weeks!) dwelling over creating and launching their surveys.

Trust us, it doesn’t have to be like that. And if that’s your currently reality we’d really love to help.

With Stribe, you can create and send your staff surveys in a matter of minutes.

How to create an employee engagement survey

At Stribe we’ve created clever tools to help make the survey creation process simple and stress-free.

Here’s our step-by-step rundown of how easy it is to create an employee engagement survey:

  • Click the New Survey button.
  • Choose to Start from scratch, or select from Benchmarked questions.
  • Add as many questions as you like – choose your answer types, add follow-up questions and word tiles (optional).
  • Proceed to the next stage – Send your survey.
  • Select your Audience from your employee data. This can be based on staff demographics like role, departments, or location.
  • Create an Introduction message for your survey to give employees context around why you’re doing this survey and what your goals are.
  • Preview and test your survey.
  • Schedule your survey and save your progress.
  • Once you’ve completed those steps, click Create survey.
  • All that’s left to do now is Share your survey. Share via link, email, Teams, Slack or QR code to reach everyone within your workforce.

That’s it! All done in a matter of minutes – now just wait for your responses to roll in.
