Read MoreRunning an effective survey requires some time and thought. For instance, it’s important organisations ask the right questions – in the right format – and at the right time.
With an average survey response rate of 30%-40% in both the UK and USA, it makes sense that organisations should focus on ways to make their surveys more accessible and increase their responses. When you truly understand your whole team, you’ll be able to make the positive change that means a lot to everyone.
As we enter a new era of more dispersed and remote workforces, your employees must be able to tell you how they’re feeling. They should be able to voice their thoughts, ideas and feedback no matter where they are, and in real-time without friction.
At Stribe, we believe that every voice is important, because when people are heard, teams are happy. This is why we’ve committed to making Stribe surveys easy to access, regardless of location, disability, or access to a computer.
So what have we done to improve accessibility and survey response rates for our customers? Take a read below to find out 😃✨
A lot of alternative engagement surveys are only accessible via a web link, which can cause some compatibility issues and make it more difficult for your employees to respond.
Stribe is accessible on desktop and via a dedicated iOS and Android app for mobile users.
Employees using Stribe can answer surveys straight from their inbox too, making it much easier to get higher survey response rates. In our busy day-to-day lives, the easier it is for employees to submit feedback, the better!
Not everyone has a company email address or laptop, making it difficult for managers to check in on these harder-to-reach employees. If you are unable to include this group in your employee engagement surveys, you won’t have a full picture of how your entire workforce is feeling over time.
To solve this problem our Stribe platform has a built-in QR code surveying tool for non-desk-based staff. Once a QR code is generated in Stribe and linked to a survey, it can be printed out and scanned by employees around the office to give their anonymous responses.
We are continually improving the accessibility of Stribe based on our customer’s experiences. When making changes in Stribe, we ensure these are made outside of working hours and as quickly as possible to avoid any downtime. Meaning your employees can always access the tool when they need it most.
Parts of our interface that are currently adjustable are:
Our platform is compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines too, making Stribe accessible to everyone! This includes users with impairments to their:
Without an employee engagement survey tool that takes the time to understand your organisation, you may end up with a platform that is unsuitable and doesn’t allow you to collect the feedback you’re looking for.
At Stribe we get to know you first, before you even sign up!
Working one-to-one with our people experts, we’ll create a tailored (and manageable!) solution just for you.
This will fit your needs, goals, and future plans whilst also being mindful that it is a new initiative and you still have your ever-growing to-do list too!
