Webinar: Getting the best out of your teams: The importance of two-way feedback

With remote working on the rise again, effective two-way feedback is key to getting the best out of your employees, making them feel supported, engaged and more appreciated.

The first step in this journey is to create an environment rich for feedback, to then empower your employees to speak up – offering their thoughts, opinions and ideas. However, all too often leaders neglect the next step – that engagement through feedback is a two-way process.

Once managers have had their one-to-one conversations, or collected employee survey results from their teams, they need to take action. It’s essential to give back meaningful feedback and to start developing valuable workplace change.

There are many different avenues to developing a great feedback culture, one of which is through employee recognition. Research shows 79% of people who are unhappy in their roles mention a “lack of appreciation”.

To build a great team it’s important for those in charge to engage, empower, and appreciate their employees. All of which can be done with effective feedback.

For this webinar, we are joined by the fantastic Director & Coach of Kingfisher Coaching, Ian Pettigrew. Ian has a wealth of experience in helping managers to get the best of themselves and their teams, so we’re really excited to discuss this topic with him.

We covered:

  • Creating a great environment for feedback
  • How managers can best receive and give feedback
  • “What doesn’t often get said” – the important conversations to remember to have
  • How technology can support leaders in this manner
  • How recognition plays a key role in a feedback culture
